THC, the principal psychoactive compound in Cannabis, possesses the capacity to influence human perception. By showcasing an alternative realm of consciousness, it prompts us to reconsider that our typical perception of the world represents just one interpretation among many. This realization implies something profound - That we are free!
This freedom finds expression through THC's capability to warp consciousness. In this sculpture, I reciprocate this gift by subtly distorting the molecular structure of THC, serving as a reminder that freedom exists everywhere we look.
Each sculpture is signed and numbered on bottom. In addition a corresponding letterpress certificate of authenticity is included in each box.
Note: The fluid resin marbleization process used to create the smoky finish of the sculpture naturally varies. Some sculptures are light grey some dark grey each with a variety of white, grey and black streaks throughout.
